Abdiel: understanding anatomy is a very long process, gaining the ability to see, (as an artist) is a tough skill to master, once you gain this skill, drawing will become second nature, and as for that, I post these studies by someone with the name of 'sir cam'. because he is well on the way of becoming a master artist. now, the ability to draw comes from the ability to see, as i mentioned above, an example. can you draw an ant? u may just draw 3 circles with the third being an oval and a few lines scratched on both sides. now if you see as an artist does you will draw the ant as it may look, as such.
